LaySun stands behind the quality of every product we manufacture. We offer a comprehensive 2-year commercial warranty on all our fire-rated PE artificial plants, green walls, and potted plants against manufacturing defects. This warranty reflects our confidence in our materials, craftsmanship, and quality control processes.
1. Warranty Coverage
1.1 Duration
LaySun provides a 2-year (24-month) limited warranty on all commercial products, effective from the date of delivery to the buyer.
1.2 What Is Covered
Our warranty covers defects arising from manufacturing processes and materials, including:
- Structural integrity: Defects in the product frame, base, or mounting hardware that cause structural failure under normal intended use
- Foliage attachment: Foliage detachment that results from a defect in how the foliage was affixed during manufacturing (as distinct from external physical damage)
- Workmanship: Visible defects in stitching, assembly, or finishing that were present at the time of manufacture
- UV resistance (indoor use): Significant color fading or material degradation that occurs under normal indoor lighting conditions within the warranty period
- Fire-rating treatment: Failure of the fire-retardant treatment to meet the certified standard, provided the product has been used and maintained in accordance with our guidelines
1.3 Fire-Rating Certification
All LaySun products are manufactured with fire-retardant PE materials and treated to meet applicable fire safety standards. Fire-rating certifications are valid as issued and apply to the product as manufactured. The fire-rating performance is warranted to remain effective for the 2-year warranty period under normal indoor commercial use conditions.
Test reports and fire-rating certificates are available upon request and will be provided with orders where fire compliance documentation is required.
1.4 UV Resistance Guarantee (Indoor Use)
LaySun guarantees that our products, when used in standard indoor commercial environments, will not exhibit significant UV-induced fading or material degradation within the 2-year warranty period. "Significant fading" is defined as a perceptible color change visible to the naked eye under normal viewing conditions that materially affects the product's appearance.
This UV guarantee applies exclusively to indoor use. Products used outdoors — unless specifically designated and specified as outdoor-rated at the time of order — are not covered by this guarantee.
2. What Voids the Warranty
The warranty does not apply and is voided under the following circumstances:

Outdoor use of indoor-rated products: Using a product outdoors when it was not specified and supplied as an outdoor-rated product. Exposure to rain, direct sunlight, humidity, and outdoor temperatures can degrade PE materials and fire-retardant treatments. Only products expressly specified as outdoor-rated at the time of order are warranted for outdoor use.

Improper installation: Damage or defects resulting from installation that does not follow our provided installation guidelines, or installation carried out by unqualified personnel in a manner inconsistent with the product's design.

Physical damage: Damage caused by impact, vandalism, misuse, overloading, or any external physical force not related to normal use.

Unauthorized modifications: Any modification, alteration, or repair of the product by the buyer or a third party without prior written consent from LaySun.

Chemical exposure: Exposure to harsh chemicals, cleaning agents not approved for use on PE materials, or environmental contaminants that cause material degradation.

Failure to maintain: Failure to follow reasonable care and maintenance guidelines provided by LaySun.

Normal wear and tear: Gradual deterioration consistent with ordinary use over time is not covered under this warranty.
3. Warranty Claim Process
To make a warranty claim, please follow these steps:

Gather documentation. Prepare the following:
- Your original order number and invoice
- Date of delivery
- Clear photographs or video of the defect
- A description of when the defect was first noticed and under what conditions
- Confirmation of the installation environment (indoor/outdoor, specific location)

Submit the claim in writing. Email info@laysun.co with all of the above information. Please include "Warranty Claim" and your order number in the subject line.

Assessment. Our quality control team will review your claim within 7 business days. We may request additional photographs, samples, or information before making a determination.

Resolution. If the claim is approved, LaySun will offer one of the following remedies (at our discretion):
- Replacement of the defective product(s)
- Repair instructions and/or replacement parts
- Store credit toward a future order
4. Warranty Limitations
This warranty is limited to the remedies described above. LaySun's maximum liability under this warranty shall not exceed the original purchase price of the defective product(s). We are not liable for any incidental, indirect, or consequential damages arising from a product defect, including costs of installation, removal, or project delays.
This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original buyer named on the invoice.
5. Warranty Outside China
This warranty is valid globally for all buyers who have purchased directly from LaySun. Where local consumer protection laws provide rights that cannot be excluded by contract, those rights are not affected by this warranty. However, as LaySun operates exclusively as a B2B manufacturer, consumer protection laws that apply only to retail consumers are not applicable to transactions with LaySun.
