Last updated: March 3, 2026

LaySun ships factory-direct from our manufacturing facility in Dongguan, Guangdong, China. All shipments originate from our factory and are coordinated by our logistics team to ensure your order arrives safely and on schedule. This policy outlines our standard shipping procedures, lead times, freight options, and buyer responsibilities.

1. Factory Location

All products are manufactured and shipped from:

LaySun Manufacturing Facility
No. 25 Qiaofeng Road, Qishi Town
Dongguan, Guangdong Province, China

Dongguan is strategically located in the Pearl River Delta, one of China's primary manufacturing and export hubs, with convenient access to major international ports and airports:

2. Production Lead Times

Lead times begin from the date of order confirmation and receipt of the required deposit payment.

Order Type Lead Time
Standard in-stock products 15–25 business days
Custom or bespoke orders 30–45 business days

Lead times are estimates and may vary depending on order complexity, current factory capacity, and seasonal demand. We will notify you of any significant delays as soon as they are identified. LaySun is not liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond our control, including raw material shortages, port congestion, or force majeure events.

3. Shipping Methods

3.1 Sea Freight (LCL and FCL)

Sea freight is the most cost-effective option for large orders and is recommended for most commercial B2B shipments. We offer both Less-than-Container-Load (LCL) and Full Container Load (FCL) options depending on your order volume.

3.2 Air Freight

Air freight is available for urgent orders or smaller shipments where speed is a priority. Shipments are routed via Shenzhen Bao'an International Airport (SZX) or Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport (CAN).

3.3 Express Courier

For small sample orders or document delivery, we can arrange express courier services via DHL, FedEx, or UPS.

4. Freight Costs

Freight costs are calculated based on order weight, volume, shipping method, and destination. Freight costs are quoted separately from product pricing and are confirmed in the proforma invoice. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, all shipments are quoted on an FOB (Free on Board) Dongguan/Shenzhen basis, meaning risk transfers to the buyer once goods are loaded at the port of export.

We are happy to assist coordinate freight on behalf of buyers who do not have their own freight forwarder. If you would like us to arrange shipping, freight costs will be added to your invoice at cost with no markup.

5. Customs and Import Duties

The buyer is solely responsible for all customs clearance procedures, import duties, taxes, tariffs, and any other fees applicable upon import into the destination country. LaySun will provide all necessary export documentation, including:

It is the buyer's responsibility to verify that our products can be legally imported into their country and to ensure compliance with all applicable import regulations. LaySun cannot be held liable for goods delayed or seized by customs authorities.

6. Packaging

All products are packed in export-grade corrugated cartons with internal foam or EPE padding to protect against transit damage. Larger items such as artificial trees and tall planters may be packed in wooden crates for additional protection. Custom packaging is available upon request and may incur additional charges.

7. Damage Claims

While we take great care in packaging our products, damage can occasionally occur during international transit. To make a damage claim:

  1. Inspect on arrival: Inspect all cartons for visible damage before signing the delivery receipt. Note any visible damage on the delivery paperwork at the time of receipt.
  2. Document the damage: Take clear photographs of damaged outer packaging and the affected products within 48 hours of delivery.
  3. Notify us promptly: Email info@laysun.co within 7 calendar days of delivery with photos and a description of the damage. Claims submitted after this period may not be accepted.
  4. Resolution: Upon verification of transit damage, LaySun will work with you to arrange a replacement, repair, or credit. Freight insurance claims may need to be filed with the carrier depending on the shipping arrangement.

Damage claims for goods shipped on FOB terms where the buyer arranged freight must be directed to the buyer's freight forwarder or insurance provider, as risk transfers to the buyer at port of loading.

8. Tracking and Updates

Once your order has shipped, we will provide you with the tracking number, bill of lading reference, and estimated arrival date. For sea freight shipments, our team can provide regular status updates throughout the voyage.
