What Makes LaySun Plants Different

Material selection is where realism begins. We use only high-grade PE and hybrid compounds developed specifically for commercial artificial plants.

High-Grade PE (Polyethylene)

Our signature material. PE captures the softness, translucency, and vein detail of real leaves. UV-stable and resistant to fading for 10+ years in interior conditions.

Natural Wood Trunks

Real dried wood trunks are treated, sealed, and shaped to create authentic tree forms. No plastic trunks — the texture and weight is genuine.

Fire-Retardant Treatment

NFPA 701 (National Fire Protection Association 701) fire-rated options are available as a special order for select products. Testing is performed by an independent laboratory accepted by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) in the Textiles and Films category. Documentation is available upon request and is provided for the project or order.

Outdoor and high-light products receive UV-stabilized pigments and clear coat treatments, preventing color degradation even in direct sunlight.

Our Manufacturing Process

Design & Specification

Every project begins with detailed specs — species, dimensions, vessel type, and fire standard required. Our design team creates technical drawings before production begins.

PE Mold Production

Foliage is produced from proprietary molds using high-grade PE resin. Leaf shapes, vein structures, and color gradients are engineered into the mold for maximum realism.

Hand-Shaping & Assembly

Skilled craftspeople hand-shape each branch and leaf cluster. Branches are wrapped with natural fiber tape and arranged to mimic authentic plant growth patterns.

Fire Treatment

Each unit is immersed in or sprayed with our fire-retardant compound. Batch testing is performed against NFPA 701, EN 13501, or B1 standards as required by the destination market.

Quality Inspection

A 12-point quality checklist is completed for every unit — covering realism, structural integrity, applicable special-order fire documentation, and packaging. Photos are shared with clients pre-shipment.

Export & Delivery

Orders are packed in custom export cartons with foam protection. We manage all export documentation, customs declarations, and arrange freight worldwide.

Artificial Plant Manufacturing FAQs

Is LaySun an artificial plant manufacturer or a reseller?

LaySun manufactures artificial plants in its Dongguan facility. Our production process includes PE foliage molding, hand assembly, quality inspection and export packaging. Fire-rated versions are available as a special-order specification for select products.

Can you manufacture a custom artificial olive tree for a hotel or restaurant?

Yes. Projects begin with specifications for the species, dimensions, vessel and required fire standard. Our team prepares technical drawings before production. Send your project specifications for a custom quote.

How do you check quality before shipping?

Each unit goes through a 12-point quality checklist covering appearance, structural integrity and packaging, with fire documentation checked when a certified build is specified. Pre-shipment photos are shared with clients.

What materials are used in your artificial foliage?

Our manufacturing process uses molded PE foliage and selected hybrid compounds for commercial applications. Confirm the material specification for the exact product and whether it will be installed indoors or outdoors.

How are custom artificial plants packed for export?

Orders use custom export cartons with foam protection. Packing lists and export documentation accompany shipments, and freight is arranged around the destination and order requirements.

What details are needed for a factory-direct quote?

Send the plant type, dimensions, quantity, delivery destination, target date and any required test reports. Include drawings and planter requirements for custom work so production and freight can be quoted together.
